Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage uses firm pressure and slow strokes to target the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue to address chronic pain, muscle tension, and injury recovery. The therapist may use their fingers, thumbs, or elbows to apply firm pressure to specific areas of the body. It can also help improve flexibility and range of motion. Communicate with your massage therapist throughout the session to ensure that the pressure and techniques used are comfortable for you.

Cupping

Cupping involves placing cups made of glass, silicone, or plastic on the skin and creating a vacuum by suctioning out the air. The suction creates a negative pressure on the skin, which is believed to help improve blood flow and relieve muscle tension. During a cupping session, the cups may be left in place for several minutes or moved around the skin in a gliding motion. The suction may leave temporary marks but these are usually painless and fade within a few days.
